Vallnord - Pal Arinsal ski resort is set amongst the picturesque valleys of the north-west region of Andorra and includes the two main sectors of Arinsal and Pal. It operates 10 months of the year offering great skiing in the winter months and world-class biking and hiking in the summer.
A Demanding Project with a Tight Timeframe
In the Autumn of 2019, Vallnord chose SPOTLIO to deliver a resort app that was to be named SkiAndBike. It was looking for an app that would:
They also wanted a backend that allows for easy data entry and maintenance of the live data feeds. As a forward looking resort they also want to be able to generate management reports from the analytical data gathered by the app and download them in pdf format. And the time frame for all these? Just 4 weeks.

The result is an app with a powerful backend that captures the adrenaline-loving, vibrate spirit of Vallnord - Pal Arinsal. The custom design is captivating, and intuitive with built-in functionalities that ensure the customer gets a superior-resort experience. GPS tracking, trailmaps, webcams, snow/weather reports, and resort maps are just some of the features that have turned this app into the must-have, digital swiss knife of Vallnord. And the 4 weeks deadline? No sweat. When working with a motivated customer it’s easier to get things done on time, and on budget and what’s more, all involved team members had fun along the way.
